Abstract

Catalogue of books in lending library of Georg B. Loring, Leonard O. Short, and Charles C. Harmon in Portland Maine, 1867-1872. Manuscript on lined double column ledges paper, 24 leaves, 30 lines per column, written and maintained primarily in a single cursive hand in red, brown and blue inks, marginal markings (books lost or not returned) of inventories of 1869 and 1872. Ca. 1755 book titles plus those on inserted sheets (100?).
